About Lanning Rentals

Just a little bit about myself, I was born and raised here in middle Tennessee, the son of a Pharmacist and Registered nurse.  As you can imagine, the medical field was my natural path, but things didn’t turn out that way.  At age 20, I was working full time in the family business and going to school. One morning in September of 2001, I was sitting in class when the teacher turned on the television.  It was approximately 9am and the room was silent as we watch the second plane fly into World Trade Center tower 2.  At that moment my life changed and I felt an overwhelming duty to serve my country and the next day went down to the Army recruiting station and joined the Army.  November of 2001, I was at Fort Benning, Georgia, doing basic Infantry training.   From there I went to Fort Hood, TX where we were deployed to Iraq for 15 months from January 2004 through March of 2005.  

Serving my country has been the greatest honor of my life.  I deeply love our country and take my military work ethic into making sure my Real Estate and Vacation Rental business is top notch and the best in Nashville.  I’ve been in the Nashville Real Estate business for over ten years now.  Every property I purchase and furnish, down to the furniture, mattresses, bed sheets, and even bath towels, I make sure it’s something I would expect from a high end property.  If you’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before, you know most are furnished with extremely cheap, flimsy furniture that’s uncomfortable and feels cheap to the touch.  Not at my houses.. I use Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, RH and similar brands to furnish my homes.  Don’t be fooled by listing that have “Luxury” in the title only to find out they furnished the home on Amazon.   I will be starting a @LanningRentals Instagram page in the near future to keep up with the properties and updates.  In the mean time, feel free to reach out through an inquiry and myself or my assistant Paisley will get back to you promptly.
